Humanitarian project agreement signed.

AFD has signed a project agreement with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) for the implementation of a humanitarian project in four districts of the Borana Zone, at a cost of EURO 457,198.00. The project will go some way in addressing the adverse consequences of the prolonged drought that has struck the area. We are grateful to WHH for enabling us to meaningfully respond to the prevailing humanitarian crisis. Needless to mention that more needs to be done to alleviate the unfolding human suffering.

AFD signed an agreement with Save the Children International for the implementation of a project entitled "BALE EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROJECT", which will be implemented in the Lega Hidha and Rayitu woredas of the East Bale zone, at a cost of Birr 6,595,777.00 .
