Operational areas of AFD

The AFD programme is primarily implemented in historically marginalized drylands where poverty prevails, capabilities are feeble, and people subsist in fragile environments. Currently, the AFD programme is being implemented in 21 districts of the Bale, East Bale, and Borana zones of the Oromia region, and the South Omo, and Konso zones of SNNPR, known for their natural resource endowment and opportunities.
